We have been praying about this for the past couple of years and I have been dragging my feet hoping to get a different answer to our prayers. My family is honestly my right arm and I have no idea how I am going to servive without their help but it is going to be an adventure. We will miss EVERYONE here so much and we will be dilligent about keeping in touch. We love you all and we will post some news after we get through the move. Have a great summer!

Happy Birthday to Danny!
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Danny, happy birthday to you!
Danny is 34! We had a lot of activities this week so we had to squeeze in a party. We had a BBQ and then it was off to Aydon's baseball game and then back for desssert. I made his favorite, german chocolate cake, that I make each year. I had to leave half of it unfrosted though because Aydon didn't like the looks of the frosting. (It does look kind of gross, but oh so yummy!) Then on his actual birthday he had a meeting that he presented at and I was able to go. He did a great job. He has no problem speaking in front of hundreds of people. I was very impressed. Danny amazes me daily with his hard work and dedication to family, work and church. I love this man more than words could say and I am truly blessed to call him mine! Happy Birthday you geezer!

Lauren dominate's!
Lauren had a lot of fun activities last week so she is the star of this post! We started with a really fun Mother's Day Tea Party in her classroom. They made us bonnets and sang for us. They served cookies and ice tea. Well Lauren brought me a huge glass of it and I quietly declined. She decided it looked good and as she began to raise the glass to her mouth I yelled at her not to drink it. (She was across the room.) I think the other mom's thought I was a complete retard but I didn't want her have it. She then said" Oh, I forgot I am not aloud to drink tea, it's bad for you." Great times!
She made this cute calendar for me and on each month they drew a picture or wrote something to us. This page is called " All about Lauren's Mom." I don't know if you can read this but she said I was 20 years old, I weigh 200 pounds and I like to eat EVERYTHING! Thanks Lauren.
This one is a portrait of me. I think she did such a great job. The girls and I had a fun afternoon together.
Lauren and her girl scout troop went to Young Chef's Academy last weekend and they had so much fun! This was one of their rewards for selling girl scout cookies. They prepared everything and the recipe's were delicious. They made cinnamon and sugar chips with fruit salsa, quesadilla's and strawberry banana sippers! Yummy! We made everything again for family home evening on Monday!

Haircuts, slip'n'slide and backyard campouts!
Jakey got a haircut last week and it makes him look so much older I could hardly stand it. He looks more like a toddler than a baby anymore. I wish I could freeze time or atleast slow it down a little, they grow up so quickly.
You gotta love the slip'n'slide! I would love to have a pool but until then we will have to settle for this. I am so glad my kids still enjoy cheap entertainment. Jake was the first and last one on it. Danny helped him figure things out and he could not get enough. It was hilarious to watch him. He was on back half the time because he could not stand up with out falling. Lauren and Aydon had to race the whole time and Little Miss Lindsey slipped and fell on her bum the first time so she barely stuck her big toe on it after that. She truly believes she is a Princess and I would have to agree!

I want to eat these children. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!
Jake found Aydon's hat in the garage and loved it. He usually won't keep one on but he was all about the cowboy hat! He is definately a Torgersen. Giddy up!
We have been anxiously awaiting camping season and we didn't have any exciting plans last weekend so we had a backyard campout which was so much fun. The kids had a blast and so did Danny and I. We had hot dogs, chips, watermelon and when it got dark Danny made the best smores, they were extra gooey! Yum! I have decided camping in the backyard is perfect. I didn't have to pack up anything, or travel anywhere, we didn't have to pee in the woods and after Aydon got done telling "scary stories" Lindsey, Jake and I went and crawled in our beds. It was a really fun night!

Aydon has a little more trouble than the rest of us eating because of all of his teeth being loose and the ones that have grown in are still at different lengths. It is so funny to watch him. I offered to blend it up for him but he didn't think that was very funny! Cute kid.

The girls being silly at breakfast. I adore them.
This is just a random picture but captures these two perfectly! They have a hot and cold relationship. Sometimes they fight with eachother about everything. If Lindsey won't share or Jake just plain wants what she has, he will just shove his way in. Jake is both a lover and a fighter and so is Lindsey. I have no idea where they got there tempers from.

Any Ideas?
Danny and I got a call a few days ago and we were asked to speak in Sacrament meeting on Mother's Day! Not alot of time but I am a procrastinater, so I wouldn't have started yet anyway.
This is what I was asked to speak about:
Stephanie – your topic is “The Righteous Influence of Mothers” –
Danny's is:
Danny – your topic is “The Family: A Proclamation to The World.”
So if any of you fine people have a great story or quote and would not mind sharing I would love it.

Better late than never! Happy Birthday Jake!
How I love this little boy! Jake turned 1 on March 22nd, ( I am just posting now) I can't believe he is so big! He is such a sweet baby. He has brought so much joy to our family. I thought I would list all of the things I love about Jake and the fun things he likes to do!He is so curious about everything and loves to get into mischif. He climbs on everything, he will push the chair all around the kitchen so he can climb up and see what I am doing. He loves to help unload the dishwasher and break a dish or two. He thinks it is his job to pull everything out of the tupperware cubboard, he climbs all the way in to get every last lid. He loves to play outside and eat the sidewalk chalk that the kids leave out. (He thinks bark, dirt and rocks are pretty yummy too)! Pulling Lindsey's hair is also a favorite, pulling anyone's hair for that matter. He loves to wrestle! If anyone is on the ground they had better be prepared to roll around with Jake. He LOVES to play ball, kick it, throw it, swing at it and he waits for you to throw it back! I can't resist him, if I am busy doing something and he brings a ball and throws it to me, I have to stop and play. He is a patient little guy. He sits through baseball and dance and all of the other places we drag him, usually without a peep! I love his slobbery kisses and sweet hugs. I love his funny faces when something excites him. Mostly I love to snuggle him at night right before bed time. He likes to be cheek to cheek when I sing to him. I love my little Jakey and I am so grateful that Heavenly Father is in charge and gave us the best suprise of our life!
Happy 1st birthday Jake! We stripped him down so he could dive into his cake!
He got right down to business.
It wasn't long before the others had to join in on the fun and cake started to fly!

Lauren had it in her hair which was fun to get out! That frosting was thick and a pain in the butt to clean up!

I love spring!
We had another busy day of baseball, dance and enjoying the beautiful weather. Baseball as I said before is great this year, all of the boys are really having a great season and having lot's of fun. Jake was such a good baby to sit in his stroller for the hour and a half and the girls played with Sydnie and Hallie the whole time. I actually got to watch! Lauren has her dance class at DG2 and she loves it. It is so much fun to watch the girls, the song they dance to is "Shake your tail feather" and that is exactly what they do. It's amazing how fast Lauren and all the girls have picked up Tap. We are really looking forward to the recital. As for the rest of our day we did some weeding in the back yard had some ice cream, road bikes, played with neighbors and enjoyed the warm sunshine. Danny was gone so it wasn't the "PERFECT" day, but there is always tomorrow.
