The Mexican Riviera

I am just starting to get the hang of this blogging stuff other wise I would have posted these pictures sooner. On January 6-13 we went on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera with 10 other families that Danny works with. I couldn't leave the kids for that long so the whole gang came with and I am so glad they did. Danny's parents also came and we had a blast. I have never wanted to go on a cruise because of the fear of being sick the whole time, I am happy to report that our family did great! We loved everything about it. Well, almost. The last day was pretty rough waters. The kids however ask everyday when we are going again. We got to swim with the dolphins in Puerto Vallarta, we loved Cabo San Lucas and the best was eating and eating and eating!! We had ice cream and pizza everyday and sometimes more. Now that we are home we find ourselves in our kitchen at 2 o'clock in the morning looking for the ice-cream and pizza bar! DANG! It doesn't work that way.
We could not have picked a better group of people to go with. The kids played with friends - day and night. All in all it was the best vacation we have ever been on. Danny and I would like to go on a shorter cruise together but I think our kids might dis-own us if we told them where we were going and they can't come!

We thank thee O God for a Prophet!

What a sweet man. I know that there is a wonderful reunion taking place at this very moment! I can only imagine those who welcomed him home and how pleased our Heavenly Father is with the incredible work that he performed here. I know that we all found such comfort in having him as our Prophet, having complete faith in his ability to lead and guide us in this crazy wonderful world. He was an amazing man, so humble, loving and the best sense of humor. You can't help but smile when you think of him. I am so grateful to him for his example and his perserverance in the work of the church. I love this man and will miss him so much but I am so happy that he is with his sweet wife and can finally rest
